White Chocolate Peppermint Baked Donuts


 

White Chocolate Peppermint Baked Donuts

Makes 12 donuts
Prep time: 10 minutes
Bake time: 12- 15 minutes


Ingredients:


    • 2 cups flour
    • 2/3 cup sugar
    • 2 tsp baking powder
    • dash of salt
    • 4 tbsp butter, melted
    • 2 eggs
    • 2 tsp vanilla
    • 1 tsp peppermint extract
    • 1/4 cup white chocolate chips

For White Chocolate Ganache Glaze


    • 1/2 cup heavy cream
    • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
 

Directions:


1. In a medium mixing bowl combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.


2. Whisk until all is well combined. 


3. In a separate bowl combine the melted butter, eggs, vanilla and peppermint and whisk.

 
4. Then add the wet ingredients to the dry and mix until incorporated.
5. Fold in the white chocolate chips.

7. Bake at 350 degrees for about 12 minutes or until batter is cooked in the center.


8. Meanwhile heat the cream over medium low heat just before boiling.

9. Remove from heat and pour over white chocolate chips in a bowl.
10. Whisk until chocolate is melted and smooth.



11. Let the donuts cool just until you can handle them and then dip into glaze.



12. Place onto rack or parchment paper.


13. Sprinkle with Christmas themed sprinkles.
